Job Description

Coastal Mechanical, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Southeast, is currently seeking a Start-up Warranty Manager for our organization. Our usual customers are hospitals, schools, universities, and government facilities. We are seeking a motivated individual to manage our HVAC and Plumbing start-ups for the state of Florida.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 annually dependent upon experience

Requirements and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Holding pre-start up meetings on each project
  • Technical support to operations personnel
  • Clean Driving Record
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Maintaining a warranty database
  • Oversight of and documentation of IAQ concerns
  • Experience with VFDs, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, large AHU’s, VRF systems, all types of mechanical and plumbing major pieces of equipment, hydronic piping, and plumbing systems
  • Management experience with ability to work under pressure
  • Overseeing the installation and operation of Building Control Systems
  • A positive attitude
  • Experience and expertise in refrigeration piping system installations
  • Internal and external customer interface to keep business relationships intact
  • Start-up & Commissioning of HVAC and Plumbing equipment using appropriate internal and factory trained technicians.
  • Ten years commercial HVAC Experience
  • Insuring project’s equipment is functioning properly
  • Ability to work independently
Essential Physical Functions:
  • Reaching, lifting, tool manipulation
  • Drive to and from customer sites
  • Climbing of ladders, stairs
  • Frequent walking, standing on job sites
