Human Resources Generalist Details

• The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the administration and communication of organizational policies and programs covering safety, unemployment compensation, workers compensation, employee benefits, performance management, employee and labor relations, compensation, recruiting and retention, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures in support of the operational efficiency of the organization.
• Temp-to-Hire position
• Ensures a safe and secure working environment by working in concert with operations and facilities management to maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) standards.
• Documents and responds to employee relation issues such as complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
• $ 24.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

Human Resources Generalist Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Manages recruitment effort for all non-exempt personnel and temporary employees; monitors new-employee orientations; assists in the management of career development and succession planning efforts; employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
