Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Manager: Sr. Human Resources Manager
Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000
FLSA Status – Full Time - Exempt
Location: Stafford, TX
Job Summary
Serve as a human resource strategic business partner to operational leaders and support the development and facilitation of all HR functions. This individual will report into the Sr. HR Manager and will lead a team of two. Duties will involve executing corporate policies; directing the selection, training, development of employees; performance management, and benefits administration.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage employee leave of absence programs and interactive processes to ensure compliance with FML and ADA requirements.
- Effectively manages, tracks, and facilitates administrative processes such as: unemployment, workers compensation and ACA.
- Develop and execute personnel procedures and policies and provides guidance and interpretation for business operations.
- Be an excellent brand ambassador for the company.
- Ability to lead various HR related projects from development through implementation.
- Oversee employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and fostering a positive work environment. Provide guidance to management and employees on employee-related issues.
- Design, implement, and facilitate enterprise training programs.
- Administers benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and work assessments, such as safety training and anti-harassment training.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum five to seven years of experience in HR, with a minimum of three to five years’ experience as an HRBP or Generalist.
- Full understanding of HR functions, laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- Project management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
