Job Description

We are currently looking for a Human Development Business Partner who will be responsible for the administration, delivery and realization of HR initiatives, programs, policies and practices in the areas of talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, development and performance management. Ensures compliance with all state and federal laws and foster a culture in the organization that promotes employee engagement and cultural inclusion.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the employee benefits program for the company and be the main liaison with our professional employer organization.
  • Display consistent exercise of sound judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Develop and ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices.
  • Partner with manager to recruit and onboard talent to the Company to include direct sourcing, working with recruiters, screening, qualifying, checking references, and developing an onboarding plan.
  • Manage performance review and goal process settings.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Human Resource files, documentation, and communications are current and comply with applicable laws.
  • Keep current regarding competitive HR practices, including compensation, benefits, and related issues.
  • Manage the employment process for the company including working with hiring managers to communicate and implement appropriate recruiting and selection strategies, ensuring that compensation is appropriate, and ensuring appropriate controls and best-practices are in place in the hiring process.
  • Maintain and analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Handle employee relations issues including working with managers to identify performance issues and developing and implementing appropriate measures to provide employees the opportunity to succeed and taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Ensure that the company follows all US EEO and global employment, benefits, wage-hour laws, etc.
  • Work with senior management to proactively cultivate a strong company culture in alignment with the purpose and values of the organization.
  • Develop compensation guidelines for the company based on market data and manage the year end compensation process.
  • Provide training and coaching to managers and employees, including identifying training needs and developing appropriate strategies in both individual and group setting.

Ø Preferred Education and/or Job experience:

  • Experience in a fast-paced growth global company in food & beverage industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience.
  • Bilingual English – Spanish
  • Experience planning, developing, implementing, and administering Human Resources programs in employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training.
  • Experience expanding people strategies globally with and without corporate entities.
  • Willigness to occasionally travel
  • 7-8 years of experience in the field of Human Resources
