This position is a specialist for information systems in Human Resources and acts as liaison with Information Services department; trains staff on HR and payroll system, and Time and Attendance system; supports staff to answer questions as needed and troubleshoot problems; prepares reports and forms as needed; processes and audits changes on employee data to ensure accurate information in HR and Payroll systems.


Qualifications
  • Experience with excel, Access and other database functions required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Previous experience in data entry required, previous experience in HCM/HRIS preferred.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business or Computer Science preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast paced or hostile environment.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware and software and related terminology.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, i.e. fax machine, multi line telephone system.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
  • High School diploma or equivalent required;
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet packages, preferably Word and Excel.
  • Basic mathematical ability to compile statistical information.
