Responsible for providing Human Resources administrative support to an assigned department(s) or manager(s) for New Oxford Specialty, New Oxford Warehouse, Hanover Fulfillment Center and Atlanta Fulfillment Center.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding.
  • Daily adminstration of employee attendance tracking.
  • Assist with on demand tasks and projects.
  • Assist with duties related to recruiting hourly manufacturing positions, including posting positions, interviewing candidates with hiring managers, distributing offer letters, tracking Affirmative Action requirements and administration of pre-employment drug screens and background checks.
  • Provide daily administrative Human Resources support which includes receiving, sorting, and delivering all incoming correspondence (mail, FedEx, fax), answering incoming phone call, assisting employees with requests for information, ordering office supplies, maintaining an organized filing system in soft or hard format as necessary, and/or preparing and distributing departmental reports.
  • Provide support for meetings such as room reservations, meals, and meeting equipment.
  • Provide administrative support for all department staffing changes (new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc.). This includes coordinating all necessary documents, arranging for necessary work items and maintaining current departmental schedules and contact lists for the department.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous work experience as a member of a team, or a strong understanding of the importance of open communication and information sharing between team members.
  • 3+ years’ previous work experience in a business environment.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience working in Human Resources in an administrative support role.
  • Some college or administrative training.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals throughout the company on departmental procedures, policies, and requests for information.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple projects and/or requests concurrently.
  • Strong attention to meeting and exceeding expectations.
