Responsibilities
Empowering Compliance: As our HR Manager, you'll be the go-to expert on labor laws, particularly the Service Contracts Act (SCA) and other relevant regulations impacting our federal contracts. Your expertise will ensure we implement HR policies, procedures, and practices that keep us compliant at all times.
Navigating Labor Regulations: Staying ahead of the curve, you'll keep up-to-date with federal, state, and local labor regulations, collaborating with legal counsel to seamlessly implement any changes that may affect our federal contracting operations.
Smooth Sailing Payroll: Overseeing a large bi-weekly payroll process for employees involved in federal contracts, you'll ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant labor laws and contractual obligations.
Championing Employee Relations: Building a supportive and positive work culture is essential. You'll be the go-to resource for employees and management regarding HR matters, helping with grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Talent Attraction and Retention: Partnering with operations managers, you'll lead the effort to recruit and onboard top talent for federal contracts while ensuring adherence to equal employment opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines.
Developing Skills: Identifying training needs, you'll coordinate impactful training programs for HR and Operations departments, keeping us up-to-date with mandatory training requirements.
Nurturing Benefits and Compensation: You'll oversee the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs, making sure we meet federal regulations and contractual obligations.
Data-Driven Insights: Developing and maintaining HR metrics, you'll provide senior management with valuable insights, helping us monitor key performance indicators and stay ahead in our HR practices.
Policy & Procedure Excellence: Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures regularly, you'll ensure we align with changing labor regulations and industry best practices, maintaining clarity and consistency throughout the organization.

Payroll Maestro: Your proficiency in payroll management and relevant software ensures seamless and efficient payroll processes.
HR Guru: With excellent knowledge of HR best practices, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits administration, you are well-equipped to take our HR initiatives to the next level.
Empathy and Discretion: You demonstrate a compassionate approach to handling sensitive employee issues, ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and fairness.
Problem-Solving Extraordinaire: Armed with strong analytical skills, you spot HR-related risks and confidently implement effective solutions.
A People Person: Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build positive relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is essential. Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are advantageous.
