The Human Resources Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and has full responsibility for all recruiting functions. He/she will provide support to all major HR functions to include onboarding, compensation, training, talent development, employee relations and policy interpretation and compliance, using policies and principles to coordinate HR related projects.

Requirements:


  • Coordinates new hire orientation, onboarding, and training using existing custom training modules and standardized courses through LMS
  • Periodically participates in training and development initiatives
  • Monitors temporary agency performance and compliance
  • Participates in employee relations activities to help ensure positive employee engagement
  • Shares responsibility for the administration of bi-weekly payroll and rolling benefits enrollments
  • Conducts compensation analysis using external and internal market data
  • Coordinates and/or performs background checks, employment verifications, and employment eligibility verification.
  • Participates in the development and execution of talent acquisition strategic initiatives, including attending job fairs, researching best practice recruiting methodologies to ensure we attract the best talent
  • Appropriately documents all relevant data related to the recruiting process.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Working with the HR leadership, managing the compensation program, participating in periodic salary surveys, maintaining the data
  • Conducts comprehensive onboarding and orientation and coordinates the same with other departments
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Performs full life-cycle recruiting, including full utilization of the company’s ATS and various recruiting systems, interacting with hiring managers, conducting intake calls, candidate sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, ensuring the recruiting process is managed in a timely manner, developing and presenting offers, negotiating and closing.
  • Creates and manages job descriptions, ensuring accuracy and maintaining job description database
  • Posts all job openings, internally and externally, according to established procedures



Education / Experience


  • Proficient skills in an ATS and HRIS system (Paylocity or similar system)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Strong MS Office applications and advanced Excel skills
  • 3+ years’ experience in HR administration
  • 3+ years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting
