WHAT IS MERCHANT SERVICES?
Select Bankcard helps businesses process payments, including credit cards, debit cards, ACH, and gift cards. From start to finish, we do everything to facilitate our merchant’s payment processing capabilities, from processing their applications, setting up their account, supplying them with equipment to process transactions, performing account changes, troubleshooting product issues, maintaining risk, and handling disputes. We provide innovative systems and technologies while utilizing cutting-edge business practices and strategies to simplify and improve the lives of our business customers.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The HR Generalistposition offers an annual salary of $60,000 to $70,000, with some flexibility depending on qualifications and academic background. We provide excellent 100% company paid health and dental insurance (for you and your dependents) with monthly employer contributions to an HSA, paid holidays, competitive paid time off, paid parental leave, an onsite gym, and monthly massages. THE JOB
We believe that Department Managers are best able to directly meet employees’ needs. Thus, the HR Generalist will support department and employee managers throughout the employee life cycle to ensure a positive work environment and culture. In close coordination with management, the HR Generalist will work to provide a happy and productive workplace that provides opportunities for employees to grow individually and achieve the company’s objectives together. This position is full-time and on-site in Lehi, UT.

Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing requests, complaints, or other issues.
  • Create and manage annual HR budget;
  • Prepare and present on HR department metrics and goals in quarterly strategic meetings;
  • Prepare and organize company events;
  • Keep up-to-date with HR tends, competitive compensation, and best practices;
  • Manage and guide the Office Assistant in their responsibilities;
  • Maintain and administer benefits;
  • Support business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees;
  • Ensure legal compliance to employment regulations and laws in coordination with General Counsel; and
  • Coordinate with managers on employee development plans and performance management;
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process effectively;
  • Onboard new hires and provide general orientation;
  • Document, develop, and improve HR processes and procedures;

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • HR administration and people management skills
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • 2+ years of experience in HR role
  • HR certification a plus
