Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a HR Data Entry Specialist in Chicago, IL. The HR Data Entry Specialist will gather employee information and assist with entering in their information into the HRIS – Workday. You will be expected to communicate with employees to gather the required data, verify the said data to ensure it’s accurate, and resolve any data entry-related issues, should they occur. You will also be tasked with recognizing and eliminating duplicate data and assisting with several clerical HR tasks, such as scanning, and answering employee questions regarding various HR functions. This is an onsite role that will require 9 hour shifts with breaks.
HR Data Entry Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Cross references data to ensure accuracy and completeness; recognizes problems in source documents and calls to the attention of supervisor or designated user liaison.
- Assist employees with inputting information into the Workday HRIS system.
- May perform clerical duties as needed.
- Ensures strict confidentiality of client records.
- Verifies input data to ensure accuracy of completed work; scans and edits for errors during processing.
- May work on weekends and/or various shift assignments.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
HR Data Enty Specialist Job Requirements:
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Word processing and/or data entry skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
- Ability to work May 31st - June 7th. Saturday included.
- Work 9 hour shift
- Ability to verify data input and correct errors.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
