HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER
- Assists with annual HR initiatives including open enrollment, merit & performance review process
- Maintains accurate employee information in ADP by partnering with the Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) – including processing all status changes, new hires, terminations, leave of absences, worker’s comp
- Performs other HR duties as assigned
- Manages employee training on ADP (setting up account, scheduling time off, etc.)
- Assists with the full life cycle of employees including onboarding (and offboarding) new hires including new employee orientation, explanation of benefits, 401k, company policies, practices & procedures
- Provides employee relations for managers and employees
- This position serves as a point of contact for HR-related questions from managers and employees and is responsible for providing a high level of customer service
- Work with the HRSC in the review of payroll, policy rollout, ADP training, LOA, and other initiatives
- Supports “automation initiatives”; maintain HR related documentation in employee electronic files
- Will assist with EHS duties, OSHA, Safety Committee etc.
- Highly motivated generalist with experience successfully facilitating and supporting organizational change; broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, safety, training, and office administration
- Excellent analytical skills and good reasoning abilities and sound judgment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and tact
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
- EHS (OSHA and Safety Committee) experience a plus
- Must be accurate and efficient, high energy, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities; willing and able to be ‘hands-on” in executing programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and excellent organization skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, management, or related field of study
- 3-5 years’ experience in human resources
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Superior interpersonal and coaching skills including patience and ability to work well with staff at all levels
