Job Description
HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER


Summary:


HR Business Partner to provide support to the employees at the Huntersville, NC HQ facilities including, but not limited to, in multiple areas of Human Resources including recruiting, new hire onboarding, offboarding, training (ADP-scheduling time off, payroll issues), open enrollment (benefits-on line), and employee relations. Support Corporate initiatives around integration, new policies, and employee communications.


Responsibilities:


  • Assists with annual HR initiatives including open enrollment, merit & performance review process
  • Maintains accurate employee information in ADP by partnering with the Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) – including processing all status changes, new hires, terminations, leave of absences, worker’s comp
  • Performs other HR duties as assigned
  • Manages employee training on ADP (setting up account, scheduling time off, etc.)
  • Assists with the full life cycle of employees including onboarding (and offboarding) new hires including new employee orientation, explanation of benefits, 401k, company policies, practices & procedures
  • Provides employee relations for managers and employees
  • This position serves as a point of contact for HR-related questions from managers and employees and is responsible for providing a high level of customer service
  • Work with the HRSC in the review of payroll, policy rollout, ADP training, LOA, and other initiatives
  • Supports “automation initiatives”; maintain HR related documentation in employee electronic files
  • Will assist with EHS duties, OSHA, Safety Committee etc.


Education & Experience:


  • Highly motivated generalist with experience successfully facilitating and supporting organizational change; broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, safety, training, and office administration
  • Excellent analytical skills and good reasoning abilities and sound judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and tact
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
  • EHS (OSHA and Safety Committee) experience a plus
  • Must be accurate and efficient, high energy, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities; willing and able to be ‘hands-on” in executing programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and excellent organization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, management, or related field of study
  • 3-5 years’ experience in human resources
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Superior interpersonal and coaching skills including patience and ability to work well with staff at all levels
