Harris
is growing and looking for a Human Resources Advisor (HRA) who can effectively formulate partnerships across all Human Resource functions to guide and deliver effective workflow processes and resources to support HR Business Partners, leadership, staff and the HR team with business objectives alignment to achieve organizational targets. This is a remote position working from a home office with occasional travel and reporting to the Director of Human Resources.
This is a remote opportunity across the US or Canada.

What is your impact?
  • Proactively plan and assist with administrating the performance review process
  • Provide HR services and support to assigned Business Units (BU) across several verticals: Utilities, Healthcare and/or Public Sector Group. (Total HR team supports 3500+ EEs, multiple locations)
  • Deliver consulting level partnership to leadership, effectively resolving employee relations, to include promotions, transfers, demotions, coaching, terminations, and conflict resolution
  • Execute HR Merger & Acquisition (M&A) action items to successfully deliver desired results of the leadership and employee experience
  • Partner with HRBPs to provide strategic alignment supporting businesses reaching their targets and establishing business ROI
  • Advise employees, supervisors or management regarding confidential or private personnel issues or interpersonal problems; administer disciplinary procedures as needed
  • Provide HR consulting of best practices along with tactical due diligence to a smaller BU portfolio driving business efficiency and success
  • Responsible for developing and/or conducting internal training sessions that promote employee/ management development
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, other members of leadership to outline the organization’s HR goals, identify opportunities to improve processes, and provide recommendations to improve employee morale and boost performance
What are We Looking For?
  • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, ever changing and complex environment
  • 3+ years progressive related HR experience, ideally in an HRBP role supporting a US and Canadian employee base OR 5+ years equivalent work experience
  • Team coordination – effectively communicate with leadership, staff, HR co-workers to build effective rapport, proactively share knowledge/best practices to contribute effectively to a cross-functional team
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or other related business majors
  • Extensive experience in human resources management: evaluations, engagement, performance, workforce planning, forecasting HR related business components, and conflict resolution
  • Relationship Building – proven experience and ability to build effective relationships within all levels of an organization

  • MBA
  • Ability to balance both tactical (operational) and strategic accountabilities
  • Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions is a definite asset
  • HRIS Systems experience – preferably Workday
  • Human Resources Certified (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
