We are looking for a Hotel Revenue Manager to join our US Hotel Revenue Management team. This role will be based at our LEGOLAND California Resort, Carlsbad office. The salary on offer is up to $95,000 per annum, based on skills and experience.

About the Role...

Join a dynamic team as the Hotel Revenue Manager at Legoland California hotels! Reporting directly to the Head of Hotel Revenue Management - US, you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing occupancy and revenue to meet the Resort's ambitious targets.

The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum 5 years of hotel revenue management experience, preferably managing 250+ rooms, with expert working experience of Travelclick / Ihotelier / OTA Sync Products.

The Hotel Revenue Manager skillfully manages hotel room inventory, market mix, and pricing strategies to not only meet but exceed occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and revenue targets. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders, meticulously analyze competitor pricing, research local market dynamics and trends, investigate demand generators, develop forecasts, and draw insights from historical data to ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of the market.

Teamwork is essential. You'll work closely with the wider LEGOLAND Marketing and E-commerce teams across the US to generate demand during need periods and take full advantage of our awareness and sales driving plan. Your expertise in the Opera PMS, TravelClick, and ISO Pacific systems will be utilized to effectively manage and yield rates, supporting agreed-upon rate strategies for both direct and indirect channels.

About You...

  • You will have a Bachelor’s degree with major in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field, as well as;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptually
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; extremely comfortable compiling and manipulating data
  • Track record of exceeding commercial targets
  • Full working experience with Travelclick, iHotelier and OTA Sync product
  • Considerable experience of hotel revenue management experience, preferably managing 250+ rooms
  • Skilled in analysis, problem solving and decision making
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Must have or be able to get a valid passport and relevant travel visas as domestic and international travel is required
  • Possess a demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and generally technically savvy
  • Ability to influence others at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large volume of work effectively and efficiently
  • Experience of Opera and Hotel Revenue Management software preferred
  • Ability to organize work and prioritize, and be reliable and accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record and be willing to utilize own vehicle for business purposes.
