Job Title: Hospice Nurse (Days) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Hospice Nurse to join our team in Glenwood Springs, CO. As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide comfort and care to patients and their families during end-of-life care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate care to hospice patients and their families
Assess and manage pain and other symptoms
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Educate patients and families on end-of-life care and bereavement support
Requirements:
Current nursing license in the state of Colorado
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care
Knowledge of end-of-life care and pain management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and emotionally demanding environment
