Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role will be to expand Partners Home Mortgage presence in each regional Market. This will be accomplished through HMDC becoming a partner to realtors in acquisition and client development with the goal of generating mortgage originations. Activities such as attending realtor meetings, open house events, attendance at loan closing, office time in relators’ office etc. In the assigned market area, the Home Mortgage Market Development Consultant is responsible for creating new mortgage loan applications and driving originations with the assistance of an assigned Sales associate.

  • Meeting with/educating home buyers on the homeownership process, facilitating loan applications where possible.
  • Business Development sessions/activities to create home ownership awareness and mortgage opportunity.
  • Cultivation, development and growth of realtor relationships and networking (CU Realty/HomeAdvantage, Ryman Investment Mortgage Program).

This role will manage and drive new mortgage originations/applications through close contact and coordination with assigned Sales associate to insure timely closing, delivery and completion of home mortgage applications and funding's.

Through an extensive knowledge of Partners Home Mortgage products/services, The BDC will grow home mortgage purchase production through sales and business development activities directed toward real estate professionals, members (current and future), and Centers of Influence (Member Services, Business Development, Member Education, spheres of influence, etc.).

Principal Responsibilities

Home Mortgage Sales Activities - Realtor Network Development

  • Network and partner with key real estate professionals, creating awareness and educating realtor on Partners value proposition. Host 1;1, departmental and organizational training/sales events with realtors. Provide guidance on home mortgage qualifications, products, pricing and process to realtors and homebuyers. Through member consultations and discovery session, determine Member’s needs and provide recommendations. Where possible, meet with member to complete initial loan application and / or pre-qualification (mortgage loan commitment).

Member Engagement - Originations

  • Manage new home mortgage applications through member follow up, discovery, needs-based selling and product awareness. Sources for new applications should include (but not limited to): Realtor referrals, Member Education Events (pre-post workshop follow up), Business Development events/activities (BD events, Workshops, Realtor meetings etc.)

Mortgage Origination Production

  • Schedule appointments with members to respond to mortgage inquiries that are generated through BD efforts, take applications and review to ensure they are completed. Analyze needs of the member and cross sell additional products and services to meet those needs. Calculate affordability and work with processing to ensure a successful closing.

  • Effective at managing relationships in a sales environment (Mortgage Advisors, realtors, etc.)

The hiring range for this remote position is $57,810 to $77,550 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
