Alliance Homecare is looking for Certified Home Health Aides for Part-Time SALARIED Position!

Requirements:

• MUST have vehicle and be willing to cover any area in NYC
• Hoyer lift experience preferred but not required (will provide training)
• Must be willing to work with pets
• HHA must be available for a total of 8 consecutive hours between the hours of 8am and 8pm
• HHA must have at least 1 year with certification and experience
• HHA will be available for administrative assistance in the event that shift work placement is not needed for the day
• Monday-Wednesday-Friday 8 hours

Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:

• Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist with toileting including the use of bedpan, commode or toilet
• Measure and record vital signs as directed
• Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
• Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice
• Assist with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker and wheelchair
• Observe and report all changes to RN
• Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
• Provide routine skin care
• Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
