Prus Construction seeks applications for a qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanic to assist in our maintenance garage at our Home Office, located at 5325 Wooster Pike, Cincinnati, OH. The applicant must possess a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform repairs on heavy equipment

• Maintain a clean working environment
• Possess knowledge about working on various construction heavy equipment (i.e. dump trucks, track hoes, back hoes, and bulldozers, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records on repairs performed on vehicles
• Communicate needed repairs
• Perform repairs on heavy equipment

Qualifications:

• Must possess own tools and own tool storage
• High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (Class B CDL Preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience working on construction heavy equipment &/or Class 8 trucks
• Good work history, attitude, and work ethic
• Ability to work alone and with others
• Ability to pass drug test and background check

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
