Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION


Under the general direction of the Manager or designee, the Sr Data File Architect will lead and develop data analyses for assigned projects and develop/deliver all related reports. This position will be responsible for creating detailed Fraud Analytic Queries and Reports to identify aberrant claims paid to Medicaid providers. Interacting with business users, and communicating business needs, this position will have the general responsibility for generating files, reports and datasets upon requests, which may entail generating code in SQL or SAS to extract data from the Data Warehouse and generate output files in a format as requested by users or others, as directed. This position will also support other CHCF as needed


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Create Data Linage based on Source to target objects.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
  • Strong knowledge of MMIS tables.
  • Thorough knowledge of data warehouse principles and techniques.
  • Use alternative techniques to dissect, analyze and present data.
  • Command of data warehouse concepts
  • Extensive experience working with Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS)
  • Responsible for setting expectations of the stakeholders after proper verification of the requirements.
  • Manage/deliver workstreams from start to finish.
  • Have experience with data warehouse-based operations, analytic functions and query generation
  • Document SQL code and process that can be used by DW team and power users of DW.
  • Develop excellent quality business and technical documentation for DW users, QA and Development team.
  • Create appropriate agenda for the meetings and get the right resources for productive work sessions/meetings.
  • Strong knowledge of Cognos cubes and query packages
  • Develop work flows, data flows and business process flow etc. diagrams.
  • Perform Comprehensive data analytics.
  • Mentor other analysts and provide query writing support and data explanation to end users.
  • Demonstrate exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Execute DW projects, help create a project plan and deliver solutions.
  • Use data modeler to create Entity relationship diagrams.
  • Gather requirements through JAD sessions, manage scope, verify requirements through data analysis and develop business requirement document.
  • Provide subject matter expertise of MassHealth Data.
  • Utilize strong analytic consulting skills, and a customer service focus to design and deliver analytic projects to client specifications.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, takes initiative and focuses on continuous improvement
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English in a clear, professional manner
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, health business administration, public health, public policy, statistics or similar discipline; or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel between locations
  • Ability to merge multiple databases and data sources to produce answers to complex business questions
  • Familiarity with coding systems (i.e., CPT, ICD9, ICD10) and hospital billing systems (DRGs).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • 10 years related or equivalent experience with proficiency in Medical Claims Analysis, Financial Data Analysis, and/or Transaction-Based Data Analysis
  • Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced, work environment
  • 10 years of Advanced knowledge of data mining software tools such as SAS, SQL, BO, Cognos or similar
  • 10 years of Advanced SAS/SQL programming skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, or Informatics.


GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION


Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, ensures the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic rehabilitation services on two adolescent inpatient psychiatric units.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provides administrative oversight for, & day-to-day management of, the Rehabilitation Services Department in accordance with all regulatory & professional standards.
  • Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
  • Provides clinical care for patients and maintains clinical documentation.
  • Attends all training programs related to general services and specific job-related goals and objectives.
  • Is responsible for all activities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards.
  • Provides the therapeutic milieu for patient programming.
  • Establishes Peer Review/Clinical Pertinence for the Rehabilitation Services Department in accordance with established standards of practice & participates in Performance Improvement activities.
  • Manages &/or provides OT & related services including assessment, intervention, program planning, implementation and discharge planning in accordance with established DMH policies and procedures and in accordance with the Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
  • Performs other specific duties as required.
  • Promotes effective working relations as part of a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate the Department/unit’s ability to meet its goal and objectives.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Provides complete and accurate responses to safety questions.
  • Current Massachusetts certification/license in occupational therapy or related professional discipline.
  • 5 years management experience.
  • 5 years experience in psychiatric rehabilitation field or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy preferred.


SUPERVISION RECEIVED


Works under the general supervision of the Medical Director.


SUPERVISION EXERCISED


Responsible for the hiring, performance evaluation, supervision, training and termination of all Rehabilitation Services staff. Conducts weekly checks of Rehabilitation Services staff to monitor performance and adherence to safety and professional standards
