Job Description

Position: Program Management Advisor

Location: 100 % Remote

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Pay rate - $45/hr

The Business Project Senior Advisor is aligned to manage a portfolio of projects in the Enterprise Operations Service and Solutions organization. Primary responsibility is to lead and drive to delivery of projects, ensuring operational readiness, in the Enterprise Operations organization. Responsible for leading approved medium to high complexity projects or components of a large project impacting multiple business units or operational units.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of analytical projects in the Government Advanced Analytics organization for ***’s Individual & Family Plans (IFP) and Medicare Advantage (MA) products – a fast-growing and dynamic business segment. This role will work collaboratively with a variety of analytical teams and their key stakeholders, including partners in finance, actuarial, network operations & analytics and risk management.

You will be responsible for supporting the various analytics teams by helping them balance multiple stakeholder requests, tracking and aligning projects across teams and maintaining clear, timely communications across various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage diverse analytical projects to delivery/completion using a variety of methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid)

Develop detailed project plans including schedule, dependencies and resource requirements

Manage scope and schedule to deliver the required capabilities on time; proactively identifying risks and creating contingency/mitigation plans

Defines and champions organization's project management methodology, tools, and techniques

Maintains all required project reporting including quarterly leadership roadmap deck, status updates and any other ad-hoc requirements of program; minimum of monthly updates.

Ensures all project close activities are completed such as retrospectives or lessons learned.

Ensure transition plan to business as usual is documented, socialized, and agreeable to stakeholders

3+ years of related project management experience

Strong business acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed in new business areas and new types of projects

Fluent Microsoft Office skills; to include PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel

BA/BS degree required

3+ years of related project management experience

PM Certification (PMP, MPM, etc.), Agile Certification/Scrum Master/Product Owner Experience strongly preferred
