Health Education Program Planner - Remote | Wfh

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Specialist to help plan, organize, and implement exciting education programs and promotions. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in engaging citizens with health issues, collaborating with various organizations, and providing essential guidance to schools and community groups.
Responsibilities
Develop and participate in engaging educational programs and materials aimed at empowering citizens with health knowledge and solutions.
Collaborate with civic groups, health organizations, and planning councils to exchange valuable information on health programs.
Evaluate program data to measure progress and ensure we meet our program goals and objectives.
Review and assess program materials, budgets, and study results to identify opportunities for improvement and additional data needs.
Interact with individuals, schools, and community groups through engaging lectures and discussions, offering valuable technical assistance and guidance.
Prepare comprehensive reports, correspondence, and educational materials, referencing our findings and health services.
Actively participate in health education programs, conferences, meetings, and our Speaker's Bureau.
Conduct or participate in research, field investigations, and opinion polls to gather essential information.
Collaborate with school administrators, physicians, nurses, and teachers to create impactful health education programs for inclusion in school curricula.
Utilize computer skills to enter data, conduct research, and maintain accurate records
Possession of a bachelor's degree in a health or social science field. (Experience in developing or implementing health education programs may be considered as a substitution.)

Examination Process
The examination will consist of a written work sample focusing on Planning and Organizing, Information Analysis, and Written Communication.
We anticipate administering the exam in late August or early September, and approved applicants will be notified via mail/email regarding their scheduled test date and time.
Completion of all phases of the testing process is necessary to receive a final score.
Successful candidates will remain on the eligible list for two years, with possible consideration for employment, which may include interviews, a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug test.
