Job Description

Robert Half is actively looking for a Head of Power for a full time role. Please reach out if interested.

Description: sourcing, negotiation and portfolio management of power procurement agreements and relationships. Formalising global location strategy for mining. Closely working together with business development & Datacenter engineering


Must have structured power agreements (PPAs)

Experience in execution, analyses, or commercial negotiations

Hands On and have worked for small organizations.

Bitcoin and Mining Experience


  • Trading is not a necessity; the candidate should have a good understanding of managing risk in the power markets
  • Must haves: sourcing & negotiation experience, energy procurement (commercial/industrial), experience / knowledge in key US power wholesale markets (ERCOT/MISO/SPP)
  • Focus on: sourcing, negotiation and portfolio management of power agreements and relationships with power providers
  • Candidates that have worked directly for power companies
  • Candidates that understand the power markets & dynamics, trends
  • Nice to haves: trading experience, renewable experience (wind/solar/hydro), behind-the-meter power procurement, rate modelling / power analytics
  • Candidates that have have an oil& gas background -> good fit and understanding of the market
  • Candidates that have knowledge on renewables / behind the meter generation
