We're searching for a motivated individual eager to give excellent customer service to our hotel guests and ensure they have all they need during their stay. As the Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, and Front Desk Agent to greet customers, you will check guests in, make reservations, recommend local activities or restaurants, and arrange transportation. Our ideal Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Desk Agent is outgoing and confident, enjoys working with people, and pays close attention to the details. Some Key Areas Of Responsibility Include


  • Provide the best local recommendations, gather in-depth knowledge about the premises as well as surrounding venues and businesses
  • Answer any issues or complaints made by guests and come up with solutions quickly
  • Handle and distribute messages and mail, as well as redirect calls by answering the phone and making reservations
  • Welcome all guests and confirm bookings upon their arrival
  • Arrange activities, excursions, and transportation for hotel guests per their request
  • Act as a point of contact for guests who require help or information and attend to their wants and needs


Requirements


  • Knowledge of the local area to make recommendations for a variety of services
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
  • One year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
  • Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
  • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
