Job Summary
The Arizona Historical Society has an immediate opening for a part time Administrative Assistant III for guest experiences in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Job Duties
  • Submit purchase requests as needed
  • Assists with facility cleaning of offices, restrooms and some grounds work
  • Assist with outreach and membership programs, recording meeting minutes and administrative assistance to staff and general public as needed
  • Primary responsibility is to manage the front desk, admission sales, gift shop sales and volunteers
  • Assist with special events and projects under direct supervision and work with teams to keep gift shop orders, inventories and items fresh and up to date
  • Assists with scheduling vendors for repair and maintenance
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge
  • Some knowledge of accounting, budget procedures and procurement
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of administration and office management
Skill
  • Skill in oral and written communication
  • Skill in Google and Microsoft products
Ability
  • Ability to research, learn and implement state rules and regulations
  • Ability to plan, analyze, coordinate activities and establish priorities/ develop effective operating procedures
Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Ability to retain a valid state-issued driver's license
