GTM Ops Manager, Strategic Initiatives, Central Operations

The GTM Ops Manager for Strategic Initiatives will be a key member of the Central Operations team within the Global Business Organization (GBO). They will partner closely with the Central Operations team and leadership to lead strategic initiatives and help the business achieve its goals. They will build connective tissue across leaders, teams and programs to create leverage, optimize growth and scale the business.
The Central Operations team is made up of operational, policy, and programs teams that are the engine behind LinkedIn’s SaaS and Marketing businesses. This position offers an exciting opportunity to bring together a variety of business functions and help set and deliver on the strategy for that team.
The role will be based within the US, with the ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, scope, and execute strategic initiatives for Central Operations
  • Lead complex programs and present key insights and recommendations to senior business leaders
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the SaaS and Marketing businesses, with the ability to understand the big picture and drop into process level details as needed
  • Conduct research on industry trends and gather competitive intelligence as input to strategies and recommendations
  • Learn quickly, be agile and proactive, as well as assume ownership for broad tracks and global workstreams 
  • Use problem solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, conduct data-driven analysis, extrapolate key insights, and deliver recommendations 
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the business to ensure it is operating as successfully as possible, stepping in to help drive improvements as needed
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, SaaS or Marketing, investment banking/private equity/venture capital, corporate strategy or sales operations experience
  • BA/BS degree in economics, engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams 
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication, experience with senior level management 
  • MBA or applicable advanced degree
  • Proven track record of program management for large, cross-functional, strategic enterprise-wide programs 
  • A love for change and an ability to thrive in a complex and fast-moving environment 
  • Experience working on or in global Enterprise businesses 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead meetings and guide cross-functional teams through decision-making processes 
  • Intellectually curious, strong emotional intelligence, resilient, passionate and humble 
  • Comfortable with data and ambiguity, and enjoys solving business problems through analysis and story-telling
  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel

The pay range for this role is $123,000 - $193,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
