Our client is a Global Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry and is looking for a “ Group HR Head for USA”.


He/her will be responsible for HR functional leadership for all business units for USA region. The location of the position is flexible and be in any HQ/Offices/plants of the organisation in USA.

The position reports to the Group President North America and the Group CHRO.

You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our business through strategic HR initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the country, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and programs that align with our organizational objectives. With your strong leadership skills and deep understanding of the automotive industry, you will foster a positive and engaging work culture, attract top talent, and enhance employee satisfaction and retention.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness within the industry and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Accountable for HR Controlling for USA including monthly reviews of headcount, HR analytics and KPIs. Create short, mid, long-term strategy aligned to the key performance indicators
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures that align with the group's overall objectives and business plans.
  • Provide effective leadership and oversight to the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Oversee performance management process and ensure expectations are clearly communicated and performance evaluations are timely, fair and consistent.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of any changes and implications for the organization. Deploy HR policies, processes, rules/regulations in partnership with the Division HR leaders.
  • Work with division Heads to effectively execute all people and organization development plans.
  • Create and implement employee performance management systems
  • Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the company has a robust pipeline of skilled automotive professionals. Ensure the attraction and timely employment of talented individuals who fit the DNA and culture, and also meet the needs of the business.




Profile required


  • Experienced in deploying policies through strong change management competency.
  • Track record of resolving a wide range of human resource issues.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources in the automotive industry
  • Highly accountable, results-oriented leader able to manage competing deadlines and multiple projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a long-term view of the business and external environment to anticipate and manage change and drive continuous improvement.
