Graphic Print Designer - Freelance

Freelance Graphic Print Designer - AMANDA UPRICHARD, a NYC based female owned contemporary fashion brand is looking for a freelance, experienced Graphic Print Designer to be a part of our design team. We are based in the heart of the garment center in NYC. Amanda Uprichard is sold on our namesake website, as well as the best contemporary websites such as Shopbop, Revolve, and department and specialty stores nationwide.

Reports to: Design Director

Responsibilities:

Re-color existing digital and vintage fabric prints

Putting prints into repeat for fabric printing with the correct measurements

Preparing prints digitally for the fabric mills

Sending prints to the mills via wetransfer or dropbox

Building new original artwork from digital and vintage references

Qualifications

Must have 2-3 years previous experience in a fashion company, preparing prints.

Must have a strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite

Must have a strong understanding of putting prints into repeat and creating digital files for the mills.

Must have the ability to work quickly.

Clear and strong communication skills are a must.

Knowledge of color/pantone.

This is freelance hourly part time work that can be done remote, or in our midtown offices.

Hourly rate: 35.00 per hour.
