Graphic Designer (Remote) Jobs

Shepard Exposition Services is seeking a Graphic Designer that will produce and design print graphics for trade shows and special events. They must be willing to assist on days, evenings, and weekends. Hours are based on the current workload available.

Essential Job Duties

• Treat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect, as outlined in the Shepard Blue Diamond Customer Service Program
• Provide quality control and ensure compliance to company structural and graphic standards
• Must understand the oversize print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are met
• Work with and understand various file types, such as: Vector, PDF, and Raster to prepare files for Print Production team members using digital printers
• Ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are met
• Work with team members to ensure work is in alignment with client needs
• All other duties as assigned
• Follow design layout instructions, pay attention to detail, proofread, and work independently

Requirements

• Possess a can-do attitude and positive nature towards projects and teamwork
• Ability to work well under pressure and demands
• Required experience with the following 2D software programs:
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to work well with groups
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines; some night and weekend hours maybe required
• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COViD-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment, if not currently meployed by Shepard Exposition Services, Inc
• Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Ability to adjust designs based on constructive feedback and/or customer requests
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Outlook, Teams) & WebEx
• Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company
• Windows-based design environment
• Associates Degree in Graphic Design or 2-3 years (minimum) of experience in oversize or trade show graphics
