MJ is looking for a full-time graphic designer to join the Benefits Communication + Engagement team. As a critical member of our Employee Benefits business unit, this person will work collaboratively with both account team members and the Communication + Engagement team and support employers of all sizes, across all industries.

Summary
The Graphic Designer will develop print and digital communication that will drive action, awareness, and engagement in our client’s benefits programs and deliver an exceptional client experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintain working knowledge of pertinent software and technology needed to complete work
- Make all requested changes/corrections promptly
- Adhoc projects as assigned
- Develop presentation materials for various client-related or topic-related initiatives for use at meetings, seminars or webinars in compliance with MJ brand standards
- Responsible for conception, development and creation of client-specific health and wellness brands, including development of name, logo, collateral, and other brand assets
- Support development and production of benefits communication materials for our client’s benefits enrollment and education campaigns, including enrollment guides, postcards, presentations, flyers, and total compensation statements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to fully understand communication needs; gather information and research necessary to understand requests and project deadlines; analyze material to determine the most effective communication tactic to deliver results
- Review all work for errors/omissions prior to completion of project
- Insurance knowledge is not required, but must possess ability to translate complex concepts into an easy-to-understand visual format
- Provide project management support for client campaigns and deliverables, including creating timelines, and coordinating with clients and account teams to deliver timely and accurate materials
TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) and MS Office Suite (primarily Word and PowerPoint)
- Work independently as a self-motivated team player that can meet deadlines in a fast-paced client service environment
- Outstanding people, verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise documents and reports and convey complex concepts to a broad audience
- Demonstrated ability to follow established processes and systems and manage multiple projects and client engagements in close communication with project teams and leaders
- Thrive in a culture of innovation, process improvement, and never settling with the status quo
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Aptitude to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping attention to detail
- Strong analytical and project management skills; high quality and production standards
- Demonstrated skills: Strategic thinking, problem-solving, sense of urgency, detail-oriented, excellent organizational and time management, follow through
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional presentation
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
+ Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in graphic design or a related discipline
JOB LOCATION
+ Denver, Colorado (Hybrid Work Location Schedule)
SALARY RANGE
+ $50,000 - $65,000
