Lindywell is looking for a talented designer who has the entrepreneurial zeal and optimism for a growth oriented company but also relies on creativity and data-driven methodologies to solve unique business opportunities.
This position requires someone who has a great range from in-depth knowledge of color theory, composition, typography and storytelling to how to express beauty through photography, infographics, and video. This position will overlap with product-focused design needs so having UX and UI design experience is an added bonus!
Lindywell is a fast moving, always evolving brand that celebrates individuality and innovative thinking. This is a hands-on position where you will shape the visual aspects of websites, email, product packaging, gear/apparel, social, and digital and video advertising.
Responsible for:
- Keeping your finger on the pulse of design by staying abreast of emerging design trends, competitors, and new innovations.
- Designing and developing eye-catching creative assets for print, digital, social, and video initiatives.
- Continual development of the brand’s visual identity and required tools to scale.
- Creating and maintaining asset libraries with current company logos, product images, and other brand materials.
- Refining and improving designs to create new inspiration and engagement for the Lindywell brand.
- Collaborating with other teams, including operations and marketing, to facilitate other projects and initiatives.
- Working on a range of creative content (stickers, email asset, social asset to larger branded launches for new products, campaigns, launches).
- Ensuring the consistency of company design guidelines across visual assets.
EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
- Excellent eye for detail
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- 4-8 years of experience in graphic design
- Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A full and fluent knowledge of current design tools and software
- The ability to think creatively and deliver impressive concepts
- Confidence to be bold with their work
- The ability to meet deadlines
