Job Description
The employee shall serve as mentor leader at the 2023 Summer Migrant Youth Leadership Institute (SMYLI). Duties shall include supporting communication between SMYLI supervisors and mentors on the encouragement of students in goal setting and academic aspiration. As an experienced mentor, the lead mentor will share information and represent the mentors in multiple daily briefings. The employee will also be responsible for a presentation. The lead mentor will assist in ensuring mentor resources at the event including technology, academic materials and activities are available. The lead mentor will perform other duties as necessary and directed by the SMYLI supervisors during this 10-night, 11 day event. Lead mentor will work between 115 hours and 125 hours during the length of the contract.
Contract Dates: July 20, 2023 - July 31, 2023
Payment: One time payment of $3,500
