Expected Starting Salary Range: $54,000-67,000
The Grant Accountant willperform grant accounting, reporting and system maintenance; for the Sponsored Program Accounting department of a Medical Center dedicated to the care of infants, children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist leadership as required
  • Perform reconciliation and closeout of awards within PeopleSoft Financial System
  • Prepare monthly invoices for cost reimbursable grants
  • Regularly review projects, identify issues, and alert the Director as necessary
  • Maintain a close working relationship with various departments and administrators
  • Set up projects and milestones reporting for grant awards
  • Prepare financial status reports and adjusting journal vouchers if needed



Qualifications

Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
