The Population Health Initiative has an outstanding opportunity for a graduate research assistant to join our team for summer quarter 2023 at a 50% FTE to support an ongoing mixed methods research project that aims to identify and track immunization rates and attitudes about vaccination for key healthcare worker demographics. The study goal is to produce observations about key drivers of vaccine hesitancy among healthcare workers and recommendations as to interventions that could most effectively combat vaccine hesitancy.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Work collaboratively with the research team to implement a quantitative and qualitative study design

  • Support survey dissemination

  • Support survey quantitative analysis

  • Interpret analyzed data and create data visuals

  • DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:
    Summer Quarter 2023 (June 16, 2023 to September 15, 2023)
    HOURS:
    19.5 hours/week
    REQUIREMENTS:
  • Registered UW Graduate Student (Summer quarter 2023) in good standing and eligible to hold a Graduate Student Assistantship.

  • Must be enrolled in a graduate degree program and meet enrollment requirements

  • Knowledge of and experience with survey analysis

  • Experience with REDCAP

  • Experience with data interpretation and visuals

  • Knowledge of literature reviews and background research

  • Detail and deadline oriented

  • Ability to work remotely and independently

  • TERMS:
    CREDIT LOAD:
  • Must be formally enrolled in the UW Graduate School for at least 2 credits during Summer quarter 2023 and be in good standing. [Students employed in a salaried assistantship position (at any FTE percentage) are required to enroll in a minimum of ten credits in autumn, winter, and spring quarters and in a minimum of two credits during summer quarter.]

  • SALARY:
    Compensation and benefits are based on the 2022-23 ASE salary schedules for a Schedule 1 Pre-Master or Pre-Doc
