The role
As a IIoT Sales Consultant, you’ll be equipped with a suite of sales tools following training that will enable you to operate as an effective business hunter. You’ll become a trusted, credible partner for a manufacturing customer base at the forefront of the Industry 4.0 revolution, working across entire sales cycles to close deals. You’ll operate in a start-up environment and delve into direct sales, value propositions and revenue generation, positioning our client’s portfolio as an effective solution to complex problems.
Other responsibilities include:
• Developing a strong understanding of the product portfolio
• Analysing growth opportunities and tracking progress
• Leading customer-facing demonstrations
• Hitting and exceeding sales targets
• Carrying out competitive intelligence and maintaining an expert level of industry knowledge
The requirements
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in an industrial environment, preferably including a familiarity with manufacturing processes on the shopfloor. Other requirements include:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Engineering discipline(desirable)
• An aptitude for developing strategic value propositions
• Able to thrive in a start-up, matrix environment
• Engaging and able to present complex solutions to diverse audiences
• Customer focused and charismatic
• Excellent communication and articulation skills
• Fluent in English and another language (desirable)
• Familiar with sales tools (including CRM)
• Able to write and prepare technical proposals
• Willing to travel up to 75%
