Contract Length:July 2023 to January 2024 (maternity leave cover)

Open to USA and Canada - 100% remote role.

Our client, a global professional services firm, is seeking a Global Paid Media Strategist, Senior Managerto work with their global marketing team in a maternity leave coverage role.

As the Global Paid Media Strategist, this position is responsible for working with key territories, global stakeholders, and global media agency to develop PwC's global paid media strategy and work across the global marketing organization to execute this strategy in paid media campaigns across the network.

What you will do:

  • Build and manage relationships across other marketing functions and the business, across a global network, including effectively managing a matrixed organization.
  • Develop and execute multiple comprehensive paid media programs simultaneously.
  • Use data and analytics to inform paid media strategies.
  • Work with the key territories to understand their paid media strategy and how to unify strategy further within the network.
  • Maintain knowledge of digital ad trends/leading practices, advertising technology, and policy applying new thinking and innovation to digital ad programs.
  • Drive difficult conversations with senior business stakeholders and be confident in saying no to all levels of the organization when necessary by relating strategy to difficult decisions.
  • Analyze paid media programs and understand what works/does not work and share this with the global network.
  • Measure and track results of all elements of paid media campaigns and report on return on investment through quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
  • Analyze competitive positioning and investment to inform the development of paid media strategies.
  • Manage resource and marketing budget planning.
  • Develop guidelines and frameworks to enable local marketing teams to execute the global paid media strategy.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and the business to influence how the practice engages with the marketplace to drive relevance, distinctiveness, and growth.
  • Liaise with leadership to present new ideas, maintain awareness of paid media activities and influence how the practice engages with the marketplace.
  • Navigate complex situations while applying firm policies and procedures to enable compliance across the network.
  • Understand marketing and sales capabilities, including sales, marketing, and integrated content in a B2B context.
Qualifications
  • Skilled inusing data and analytics to inform paid media strategies.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns.
  • 6+ years experience developing and executing multiple comprehensive paid media programs.
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind.
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree, university degree (Marketing preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers.
  • Experience working within B2B marketing withinglobal professional services is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
