How you can make your mark

Make your mark as a Global Mobility Specialist at Boskalis! Working as a Global Mobility Specialist means working in an international, dynamic, and innovative environment. As a Global Mobility Specialist, you support our population of international transferees with assignment documentation, collect data to fill the ITIN applications, global compensation data gathering, shadow payroll reporting, etc . You will be work closely together with our HR managers, Finance managers and Tax managers to make sure employees from anywhere in the world are able to work in the US in an effective and compliant way.

Position:

  • Based in Providence Rhode Island
  • Reporting to the Global Employment Manager
  • Travel on an ad-hoc basis to The Netherlands.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and monitor the filing of various tax forms.
  • Collect compensation data for US inbound international assignees.
  • Prepare assignment agreements and related informational documents to and for crew and project personnel.
  • Collaborate with various Boskalis stakeholders (e.g. HR, tax, finance, legal, payroll immigration, crewing).
  • Ensure required documents are on file such as Certificates of Coverage, A-1 certificates, etc.
  • Support income tax reporting and remittance via shadow payroll.
  • Maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive personal information.
  • Understand the Boskalis US PIT (Personal Income Tax) policy.
  • Ensure that required data from internal database is accurate and complete.
  • Keep up with changes to US tax rules and regulations.
  • Participate in other projects as assigned.
  • Coordinate with other jurisdictions to make sure that obligations for crew are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Expert level Excel and data management skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • International business experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for college degree;
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and case management experience;
