In this role the Manager collaborates across all key supply chain functions to develop capacity scenarios and analysis enabling investment and prioritization decisions. Manages Capacity planning scenario tool parameters and organizational use/knowledge of tool. Closely partners with Value Stream Leader on capacity programs, idea generation, management alignments and tracking.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes SNP transaction policies, guidelines, and processes for Global Network management. Including APS Parameters setups/renewal applying Inventory Entitlement Model.
  • Develop safety stock calculation methods and process aligned with MD&D WW Inventory strategies.
  • Monthly process for monitoring and timely/accurate reporting, pro-actively identifying potential issues & mitigations/variances explanations – working with supply chain managers, site planning and affiliates regional planning partners. Facilitates reporting improvement in partnership with Finance and MD&D Inventory COE group.
  • Provide coaching for planning team members as Inventory Subject Matter Expert and creates standard work/calendar training materials.
  • Creates and maintains Lifecycle Management view for New Products and Rationalization master list as it relates to inventory impact (scenarios) to flag trade-offs/ decision making needs to management.
  • Coordination across the Horizontal Management leads and cross-business segments planners to drive franchise Inventory Optimization strategy and Year improvement master list execution tracking aligned with MD&D Strategies.
  • Re-design and establishes governance of the Global Supply Chain Franchise and regional main distribution hubs to enable profitable growth (flexible and efficient network).
  • Coordinate the Quarterly/Yearly inventory target setting, updates and alignment with financial cycles.
  • Acts as primary liaison & integrator with CLS, RTO, RPT-SNPs, Finance and Source Company to ensure alignment of strategies, objectives and execution.
  • Fosters an integrated approach with S&OP process to ensure Demand, Supply and Inventory tie out (PSI=Production / Sales / Inventory Triangle); developing scenarios for decision making and timely escalations.
  • Leverages S&OP forum and scenario planning tools in addressing events management process to enable action and decision making towards delivering returns and DOS Inventory targets.

Qualifications

  • Availability to travel up to 25%
  • Experience working with inventory / distribution planning / order management / MRP computer systems is required
  • Minimum of 10 years of related supply chain work experience is required
  • Supply Chain business experience (Marketing and Commercial financial interactions) in the Medical Device /Pharmaceutical/Consumer industry is required
  • APICS Supply Chain related certification preferred
  • Incumbent must be available to work administrative schedule within the host company time zone (EST)
  • Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
  • Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Planning, E-mail, Flow Charts and management of database tools is required
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University Degree is required. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree Business Administration, Materials Management or Engineering is preferred. MBA or equivalent University degree is preferred
  • JD Edwards planning system & COGNOS Cube experience is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $113,000 to $170,000.

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
