Your Role
As a Global Commodity Manager - Electro-Mechanical, you'll be at the forefront of driving positive change. Your mission? To enhance key metrics like On-time Delivery, Quality, and Cost through strategic commodity management. You'll be the driving force behind optimizing our supplier relationships, championing strategic sourcing, and collaborating with stakeholders to elevate our external direct material spend.
What You'll Do
Dive into the exciting world of manufacturing methods and market cost drivers within the bare PCB's, LED's, LCD's, and Touchscreen industry on a global scale.
Lead the charge in nurturing strong Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) efforts for outsourced purchases.
Craft and execute annual Commodity Strategies that align with our business needs, using insights from stakeholders and supply base assessments.
Collaborate closely with both our Purchasing and NPI teams to ensure seamless strategy execution.
Champion the creation and management of RFx's to optimize landed costs across multiple plant sites.
Take the lead in developing, executing, and managing contracts that drive cost reduction and price mitigation.
Be the problem-solving pro in leveraging market intelligence, negotiation skills, and influencing power during supplier discussions.
Conduct regular Supplier Business Reviews (SBRs) to foster strong relationships and identify areas for growth.
Stay ahead of potential risks in the supply chain, implementing smart mitigation strategies when needed.
Be the backbone of support for the entire production life cycle of your assigned commodities.
Embrace the excitement of identifying and onboarding new suppliers, conducting audits, and seamlessly integrating them into our operations.
Shine as a go-to person for resolving supply, quality, and pricing challenges, taking ownership of solutions.
Juggle multiple tasks and projects effortlessly, delivering results that exceed expectations.
Translate engineering drawings and technical specifications into actionable insights, all while being familiar with GD&T.

What You Bring
A Bachelor's degree that sparks your intellectual curiosity; having a Master's degree would be even more awesome.
Your communication skills are top-notch, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders is second nature.
You're not just data-driven; you have a financial acumen that sets you apart.
When it comes to Microsoft Office, you're a pro, especially when it comes to Excel wizardry.
You've got a solid 5-10 years' experience in the exciting realm of commodity management or a related field.
Supplier management, negotiations, rationalization, and contract management are skills that you've honed over a minimum of 5 years.
ERP systems? You've got at least 5 years' experience with them, too.

Your familiarity with SAP, which would make you a superhero in our eyes.
A working knowledge of Healthcare, Vehicular (off-highway), and Military (ITAR, EAR regulations) industries, adding an extra layer of expertise.

Salary: $ 96,999.00 Per Year
