Primary Responsibilities
In the role of GIS Technician, we'll count on you to
- Perform data input and editing of spatial and tabular data
- Perform other duties as needed
- Follow documented technical procedures
- Conduct simple spatial analyses, and prepare maps using ArcGIS or other applicable GIS software
- Perform field data collection as needed using mobile GIS/GPS equipment

Required Qualifications
- Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Associate degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science or closely related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- Practical experience with editing, database development, and map production in ArcGIS
- Requires attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work with a team
- Good written and oral communication skills a plus

The expected compensation range for this position is $49,742.00 - $71,060.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.
