General Warehouse Laborer 1St Shift

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day activities and management of the warehouse.
Work Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a daily production and shipping plan, ensuring excess stock is stored in the warehouse.
• Ensure product availability to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
• Enter and confirm orders using the P21 system.
• Perform other related duties as instructed.
• Operate forklift trucks as required.
• Coordinate and schedule the movement of products in and out of the warehouse, including the storage and shipment of finished products.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Identify and report slow-moving product and, with approval, arrange for the removal of the product.
• Create and maintain an accurate inventory database for the warehouse.
• Document all related activities and complete forms and reports.
• Manually handle, repack, or restack pallets of finished products as needed.
• Manage the daily flow of finished products by rearranging storage space assignments.
• Answer incoming phone calls.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Great organizational skills and an eye for detail.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound judgments regarding inventory.
• Basic understanding of the company's product codes and terminology or ability to learn them quickly.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds as needed.
• Ability to move around the warehouse.
