Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Administrative Support Specialist to perform a diverse range of administrative tasks. These tasks may include reception duties, application registration, managing the Bridges Scanning and Index system, and mail distribution. In addition, this role may also involve serving as a fiscal designee for the local office.
Responsibilities
Handle reception tasks and provide assistance to visitors.
Manage application registration and related paperwork.
Utilize the Bridges Scanning and Index system effectively.
Distribute incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
Potentially serve as the local office's fiscal designee.

Minimum Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
General Office Assistant 5: No specific experience required.
General Office Assistant 6: One year of administrative support experience.
General Office Assistant E7: Two years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to an intermediate level.
Additional Information
The primary office location is Ottawa County DHHS, 12185 James Street, Holland, MI 49424. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement (combination of remote and office). Candidates selected for the hybrid work model must perform their duties within the state of Michigan.
Equipment: Provided with work computers and potentially phones for official communications. For remote work, employees are responsible for arranging a secure workspace, high-speed internet, suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities at their own expense.
Candidates who held this classification and left within the last three years should contact Human Resources for potential reinstatement, though it's not guaranteed or required.
