Job Summary
**RELOCATION & YEARLY BONUS OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE**
Do you enjoy managing projects and implementing new programs/systems? Are you interested in providing innovative dining solutions to customers? We are currently seeking a Food Service General Manager at California State University-San Bernadino located in San Bernardino, CA . Our General Manager will work closely with our client while managing the daily operations of food production, and service at multiple dining locations on campus. This candidate must have a strong financial background, previous food service management experience, and be able to develop and maintain strong client relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages overall day to day operations of the account
- Works with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
- Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments
- Conducts HR functions including hiring, training, progressive counseling, terminations
- Rolls out new programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
- Manages in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Manages financial acumen for all areas including financial reporting with sales reports P&L reports, writing and adhering to annual budgets and cash handling
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching skills
- Experience in food purchasing, food costs and inventory control
- Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
- High volume food production and catering experience is essential
- BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
- Five years of foodservice operational/management experience
- Previous experience managing and developing a budget
Salary Range: $120,000-$125,000
Starting Rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: location, education, training, and/or experience
