General Manager - Civil Construction

The time is now! We have an opportunity for a seasoned General Manager with civil construction experience who will effectively lead Stormwater Plans, LLC.

What does the position do?

• This position formulates overall business strategy, manages talent and establishes operations’ business practices.
• Will oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local business unit.
• This position will be responsible for managing a self-performing civil construction entity based in Arizona.
• To be successful in the role, the General Manager should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our employees develop and be productive, while ensuring profitability.
• The General Manager is responsible for the subsidiary business line revenue and functionality.
• The General Manager will be responsible for business development, extensive and sustainable growth in their business unit.

What will top candidates bring to the table?

• 5 years or more experience as a General Manager or similar executive role at a civil construction company.
• Top candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related business field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Previous experience at a self-performing civil company with knowledge of civil equipment.
• Knowledge of business process and shared service functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.) in a corporate structure.
• Effective communication skills and outstanding ability to lead an organization.
