Job Description

Pacifica Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the team at FogCatcher Inn located on Moonstone Beach in beautiful Cambria, California. The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance needs of the property.

Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following;
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
  • Changing locks, installing smoke alarms.
  • Periodically clean gutters, drain water heaters.
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
  • Carpentry and screening.
  • Interior and exterior painting.
  • Basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
  • Maintain shop and tools in clean, orderly and safe condition.
  • Pool maintenance.

Pay Scale: $20 to $22/hr.


Experience
