Job Responsibilities

• Develops general maintenance and repair program throughout the facility.
• Resume preferred, but not required, license(s) and certification(s) must be submitted to be considered for position.
• Provides assistance in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration maintenance and repair program.
• Establishes on-call procedures to respond to emergency general maintenance repair calls.
• Supervises and completes general maintenance, construction, and renovation projects for facility.
• Assists in Emergency HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair calls and assures the work is promptly and properly performed.

Must successfully complete eight (8) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire

Minimum And Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and trade experience that is directly related to the area of employment. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis.
SCDC Minimum Requirements: (Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of state Human Resources).
