General Laborer Jobs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following qualification: MUST be met and clearly detailed on the City of Saratoga Springs employment application form by the last filing date: Requirements: * Applicants must be at least 18 years of age AND * Possess and maintain a current and valid NYS drivers license throughout the duration of employment DUTIES: * Assist Traffic Department in the installation AND maintenance of traffic pavement markings and other related traffic control devices on all city streets and parking lots and * Willingness to work out of doors, occasionally under adverse weather conditions * Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 70 pound short lifts and 50 pounds repetitively * Ability to work in a highway construction environment where most of the work takes place in and around motor vehicle traffic.

• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer with 4-6 weeks of evening shift hours. Duration of employment is from June 6th, 2023 thru September 1st, 2023.
