General Labor for the Conagra Brands Oakdale Plant (Union Facility) is an essential position that is used to assist in multiple facets of the plant within the Operations and Sanitation Departments. At this time, we are hiring approximately 40 seasonal general labor employees.
We will be hosting a hiring event on Friday, June 23rd from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. If interested after submitting an application, check out our careers page to register for the event.
Hourly rate is $18.19.
- Understand policies and procedures as required
- Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met,
- Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required,
- General sanitation of equipment and facilities,
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met,
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions to management,
- Assist in the processing of raw materials,
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting items up to 50 pounds, etc)
- Commitment and adherence to safety rules and regulations,
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- There are no minimum educational requirements to be a general laborer, but candidates with specialized skills are desirable.
