General Labor - Safety Watch

Position Summary:

LaPlace, Louisiana

Local Job - No Per Diem

We are seeking to fill multiple Safety Watch positions involving plant turnaround projects. This role is dedicated to monitoring the safety of workers performing a variety of tasks within different industrial facilities.
No industry experience? No problem, we have an incredible training program to ensure your success. Experienced? We would love to hear from you. At United Safety we value diversity and welcome all experience levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Local Job - No Per Diem
  • Monitor the health and safety of workers engaged in confined space work.
  • Learn how to set up, inspect and operate safety equipment.
  • Conduct fire watch, bottle watch, gas monitoring, and breathing air/apparatus activities.

Requirements:

  • Able to successfully complete our 6-day training program including a physical demands test, hair follicle drug test and alcohol test.
  • Candidates for this position must be comfortable climbing stairs and ladders, working at heights, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • TWIC Card and Basic Plus
  • 18+ years old
  • Eligible to work in the USA
