Fund Financial Analyst - Alternative Investments

Our global Alternative Investment Management client is seeking to recruit a Fund Financial Analyst to perform quantitative financial analysis and create fund, investment, portfolio and platform-level reports and performance analytics for investors, senior management and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quantitative financial analysis and create fund, investment, portfolio and platform-level reports and performance analytics for investors, senior management and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain relevant Excel models and assist with automation projects and process improvements for performance reporting
• Update data queries and perform data reporting as required
• Perform financial analysis, produce reports and respond to information requests from investors, prospective investors, external investment consultants and senior firm management
• Maintain and enhance internal models, key performance metrics and transparency reporting for all investment strategies
• Work closely with investment, sales and marketing teams to produce comprehensive and value-added performance analytics to investors and perspective investors
• Assist with ad hoc and special projects as requested
• Analyze fund, portfolio and investment level performance metrics and analytics and product high-quality reports across private equity, private credit and real estate investment strategies

Requirements:

• Experience with data visualization tools such as SAP Business Objects, SharePoint or Power BI preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of fund/portfolio performance metrics and how to calculate fee structures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Demonstrated data analysis and data manipulation skills
• Fundamental accounting and financial statement analysis skills
• Bachelor's Degree
• Keen interest in working with investors and supporting the investor reporting process
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• 5+ years of financial analysis, fund/investor reporting or fund performance analytics experience
