Full-Time Day Porter Jobs

Champions School of Real Estate is seeking an energetic and dependable day porter to perform day-to-day building cleaning duties at our Houston North Campus. Responsibilities will include maintaining all campus break areas, managing coffee bar, assisting with unpacking books and supplies, accepting deliveries, cleaning classrooms and offices, restocking bathrooms, and responding to all cleaning emergencies.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detailed, and able to manage a variety of duties simultaneously. Candidate will work with the Campus Manager to create an effective cleaning schedule, which will include your day-to-day routines and work timetable.

Responsibilities:

• Manage coffee bar and restock supplies
• Monitor safety hazards inside and outside of building
• Clean all campus areas including offices, classrooms, and break rooms
• Unpack boxes and assist with restocking campus book inventory
• Assist with maintaining cleaning supplies required for facility maintenance.
• Trash collection and removal from all campus areas
• Accept campus deliveries
• Respond to any major spills or other cleaning items
• Monitor, clean, restock and service restrooms and kitchen areas
• Maintain a clean campus environment throughout the day

Requirements:

• Must have the ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language
• Prepared to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner
• Previous porter or janitorial experience
• High school diploma or relevant qualification required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Wear a uniform
• Must be dependable and professional

Required Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
