Job Description


We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in Greenville, OH. By providing specialized instruction, support, and encouragement, you will empower your students to achieve academic, social, and emotional success.


Job Details


  • Caseload: High School Multi-handicapped
  • There are some cognitive disabilities but majority of kids are more functional.
  • 2 paras are in the class at all times


Qualifications


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of current trends, research, and best practices in special education.
  • Previous experience working with students with diverse special needs is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (required).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field (required).
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.
